Mercer Little Free Library

Due to some damage from the recent storm- The Little Free Library is closed temporarily.

We are looking for help to make the necessary repairs. It would be a great project for a local Boy Scout troop or anyone handy looking for a community service project.

If you’re interested in helping us repair the LFL, please let us know.

The storms damaged our little library over the weekend but Cub Scout Pack 78’s leader, Chad Anderson came to the rescue. In the dark, he was able to make repairs to patch up our library until we can make more permanent improvements in the spring.

Thank you Chad for giving up your evening to help keep this resource up and running for the community.

Hey there supporters and friends! The Little Free Library is due for some touch ups! So we have it in the shop for some work and will be back soon to service and support our community.

Sorting books on a snowy day!

The Mercer Rotary Club set a goal to collect 113 books in honor of the 113th Birthday of Rotary International! After collecting a grand total of 277 books we will be donating them to the Sandy Lake Library!

Hi friends and neighbors!

This page was created to keep our community informed of this great grassroots resource available to service the whole community. Our Little Free Library has been around since 2015, but recently underwent a facelift to make it stand out a bit more and thus be better utilized by young and old alike.

While still in the Mercer Square, the Little Free Library has moved to a new location at 110 N. Pitt Street (just between The Gallery and The Academy of Dance Anatomy).
