What is significant to you about Wednesday August 19th? For many students in Montgomery TWP it is the first day back to school!!! We want to wish you all a great and safe year ahead!!

The Supervisors, and employees of Montgomery Township would like to take this time to express our deepest condolences and Sympathies to the family of retired employee Clyde Egolf.
Clyde received his eternal rest this morning after a long battle with cancer.
For over 40 years, Clyde was a very faithful employee and servant to the residents of Montgomery Township. No matter the time of day or night when Clyde got the call to report to work, he was there. No matter the task before him, he did it.
In his last years before retirement Clyde’s responsibility was for the road side mowing. Always going above and beyond keeping the road sides looking nice. Just a month or so ago Clyde was observed by Supervisors mowing a portion of Claylick Rd with his lawn mower.
In our last visit to him just days before he passed, we mentioned seeing him doing that, he replied in a low whisper “ I wish I could run that road mower 1 more time”.
Clyde, I can imagine you now, mowing on the streets of gold, and helping keep Heaven looking nice. I know you are enjoying your self where you are.
Rest easy friend. We will see you later!

Montgomery TWP youth and Seniors are encouraged to apply for these opportunities.

Shine a spotlight on your township's youth by encouraging them to apply for the PSATS Youth Awards and PSATS Scholarships!

Youth Awards: Four K-12 groups that have improved life in Pennsylvania townships of the second class will receive $500 each and recognition at the PSATS Annual Conference in Hershey.

Scholarships: Four $1,500 awards are available to high school seniors residing in townships of the second class.
