Feeling special on prom night should be something every student gets to experience — but for many families, the cost can be a real burden.

That’s why the Camden County Commissioners, together with partners from the Sheriff’s Office, Prosecutor’s Office, Camden County Police Department, and Department of Corrections, organized the annual “Say Yes to the Dress” event — making sure every student can take part in this special milestone.

This is what good government and strong community partnerships can do — breaking down barriers so every student gets to make memories that will last a lifetime. ✨

A strong show of unity at last night’s endorsement rally as supporters, community leaders, and labor allies came together to support Cory Booker for Senate, Donald Norcross for Congress, and Lou Cappelli and Jon Young for County Commissioner.

This is the team that understands the challenges our communities face and what it takes to stand up and fight back.

Booker, Norcross, Cappelli and Young are ready to deliver real results for Camden County.

As the cost of living rises and homelessness increases, Camden County Democrats are offering hope and finding solutions.

Commissioners Jen Fleisher and Jon Young toured the County's new supportive housing center under construction in Gloucester Township: a 43,000-square-foot facility with 60 efficiency apartments and on-site support services.

This project is part of the Commissioners' committment to ending chronic homelessness in the county. Learn more about their plan here: https://www.camdencounty.com/service/end-chronic-homelessness-in-camden-county/

Commissioner Jen Fleisher joined the Salvation Army, the Food Bank of South Jersey, and an incredible team of volunteers to distribute Thanksgiving essentials to more than 1,200 families at the Kroc Center in Camden this weekend.

Supporting our community in times of need isn’t just good policy — it’s our responsibility.

Fact or Fiction Friday - Trump is claiming Thanksgiving dinner is 25% cheaper this year but he is basing that on the cost of a Walmart meal basket which is only cheaper because it includes less food and different products than last year. A smaller basket doesn’t mean lower grocery prices.

Walmart’s $40 holiday bundle is cheaper than last year’s, but an analysis shows the savings come from fewer and smaller items — not lower food prices

Democrats deliver for our most vulnerable neighbors. Yesterday, the Board of Commissioners hosted a Homeless Services & Resource Fair, providing real, hands-on support directly to those who need it most.

Commissioner Virginia Betteridge welcomed participants with the dignity and respect they deserve and said, “This is just one step toward our goal of ending homelessness in Camden County once and for all."

Yesterday, Congressman Donald Norcross voted to release all unclassified DOJ records related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation and prosecution. “Epstein’s victims deserve justice, and his accomplices must be held accountable for their horrific crimes," Norcross said. "The American people deserve to know the truth. In Congress, I’m working to hold these despicable abusers accountable, no matter how powerful or well-connected they are.”
