While this election did not produce every result we had hoped for, we are incredibly proud of the positive campaign we ran – a campaign focused on our vision for the future of Merchantville, our commitment to serving all residents, and our sincere desire to give back to the community we are fortunate to call home. We are grateful for the confidence voters placed in us by choosing Ray Woods as the Democratic nominee for Mayor of Merchantville and Sean Fitzgerald as the Democratic nominee for Borough Council in the November General Election.

We want to sincerely thank every voter who supported us, welcomed us into their homes, displayed a lawn sign, volunteered their time, or simply took a moment to speak with us about the issues that matter most to our community. Your support, encouragement, and belief in our vision for Merchantville mean more than we can adequately express.

We would also like to congratulate Kim Brady on her election victory. We look forward to working collaboratively with Kim and our colleagues on Council to do the hard work that Merchantville residents expect and deserve from their public servants.

While the Primary Election may be over, our commitment to this community remains as strong as ever. We remain focused on building upon the progress our borough has made and creating an even brighter future for Merchantville.

Thank you again to everyone who supported us throughout this journey and believed in our vision. We are honored by your trust, ready to get to work on your behalf, and look forward to continuing to build an even stronger Merchantville together.

A big thank you to everyone who came out this evening to help get Merchantville ready for tomorrow’s Birthday Celebration!

Thankfully there wasn’t too much work to be done thanks to the hard work of our amazing Public Works team who’ve been preparing for this special celebration of our borough. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated crew serving our community.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow as we celebrate another year of our wonderful borough!

Ray, Sean, and Ruby would like to take a moment to thank each and every one of our friends and neighbors who came out to vote, took time to speak with us, or shared some lawn space for one of our signs!

With the numbers still very close and mail in ballots still arriving, the election is unfortunately still too early to call. As soon as the vote count is officially over, we will be sure to post the results here.

If you were one of the folks who were kind enough to display a yard sign and you would like us to come and pick them up, please send us a direct message and we'll be by to grab them as soon as possible.

With Election Day just hours away, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible supporters, volunteers, friends, and neighbors who have stood with us throughout this campaign.

Over the last several months, your encouragement, support, and countless hours of sweat equity have made all of this possible. Every conversation, every door knocked, every sign placed, and every word of encouragement reinforced what we already believed – that our commitment to serving our borough resonated with residents and they supported our vision of building an even better community and a brighter future for our borough.

We also want to extend a special thank you to our families. Campaigns require sacrifices not only from the candidates, but from the loved ones who stand behind them. Whether it was joining us on the campaign trail, cheering us on from the sidelines, or taking on additional family responsibilities while we hit the campaign trail, fulfilled professional obligations, or carried out governmental duties, their support and love made this journey possible. We truly could not do any of this without them.

The overwhelming support we've received has motivated us every step of the way and strengthened our commitment to serving the residents of Merchantville with the dedication and energy they deserve.

Merchantville would not be the wonderful community it is today without the leadership, vision, and dedication of Mayor Ted Brennan. For the past 12 years, Ted's tireless efforts have helped shape the growth of our borough, guiding Merchantville through challenges and opportunities while always putting our community first.

Under Ted's leadership, our borough has continued to move in the right direction, building on our strengths, investing in our community, and making Merchantville an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. His commitment to public service, willingness to lead, and deep love for our borough have set a high standard for those who follow.

The expectations we face are significant, but they are a reflection of the example Ted has set through his leadership and service. We are honored to have his support as we run for Mayor and Council, and we are committed to building on the strong foundation and legacy he continues to build today.

It was a family affair today as Ray and his campaign team were out reminding neighbors about the important election coming up on Tuesday, June 2. While our campaign may run on child labor, they were generously compensated with pizza and ice cream for their hard work.
