Key Field Air National Guard Base is located at the G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery National Guard Complex, Meridian, MS. Air Force, or Department of Defense. Air Force.

The base is home to the 186th ARW, 238th CRS, 248th CAOS, and 186th AOG. While this is an open forum, it's also a family friendly one. So, please keep your comments and wall posts in good taste. Our very own Master Sgt. Tyler Fleming, Installation Emergency Manager with the 186th Civil Engineer Squadron, played a key role in the Fox EMBER joint exercise, training 40 participants from 18 Air National Guard units and leading critical Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear readiness efforts.

His leadership and expertise strengthened joint force interoperability and enhanced mission readiness in austere environments.

Keeping the mission moving 📦

Tech. Sgt. James Hattaway and A1C Kaylee Taylor with the Logistics Readiness Squadron, support mission readiness through the movement of personnel, cargo and equipment. Through transportation, vehicle management, supply and deployment support, their efforts help sustain daily operations and ensure mission success at a moment’s notice.

Airmen from the 186th Security Forces Squadron conducted Area Security Operations (A*O) training in a contested environment at the Meridian Public Safety Training Facility, commonly known as Sandflat.

During the exercise, defenders established 360-degree security within a designated timeframe to secure a landing zone for rotary aircraft operations. A*O prepares Airmen to secure locations, equipment and personnel in a timely manner to support mission success.
