🎬 Our Spider-Man movie night definitely didn’t go as planned… 🕷️🍿
We headed to Cinemark in Meridian excited to sit back, relax, and watch Spider-Man on the big screen. Instead, we left pretty disappointed with the experience.
First, we had people trying to take the seats we had already reserved and paid for. Then, throughout the movie, a group of unsupervised teens were disruptive enough that it took away from actually enjoying the film.
What made it even more frustrating was that when you need someone to step in and handle situations like this, it felt like there weren’t any adult employees around to help manage the theater.
I completely understand teenagers being teenagers, but there’s also a basic level of respect that should come with going to a movie theater. People paid for their seats and paid to watch the movie—not to spend two hours dealing with someone else’s behavior.
We still enjoyed Spider-Man, but the overall theater experience? Unfortunately, not so much. 😬
🍿 Have you noticed movie theater etiquette getting worse lately, or did we just catch Cinemark on a bad night? 👇
