Yesterday we celebrated an incredible woman, Mrs. Vanchetta Mitchell, as she closes an amazing chapter after 30 years of dedication at Southeast High School.

For three decades, she has poured her heart into this school, impacting countless students, and coworkers along the way. She is a true example of what it means to serve others with grace and purpose. Mrs. Mitchell has helped shape generations both inside and outside the classroom. Southeast High School is better because of the love and passion she brought every single day.

Thank you for 30 years of hard work, memories, guidance, and inspiration. Your legacy will continue to live on through every life you touched. Wishing you nothing but happiness, relaxation, and endless blessings in your retirement. You have truly earned it! ❤️

Welding students at Ross Collins CTE are building bright futures one certification at a time! We are proud of Mr. Allen Harwell’s Welding students for earning their National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certifications.

Our first-year students successfully earned their NCCER Core certification, while our second-year students achieved their NCCER Welding Level One certification. These industry-recognized credentials demonstrate the hard work, dedication, and hands-on skills our students are developing in the welding program.

Congratulations to all of our students and special thanks to Mr. Harwell for preparing the next generation of skilled trade professionals!
