MTCHS students outperformed both state and national averages on the Spring 2026 SAT.

Huge congratulations to our hard-working students and dedicated staff for driving these exceptional results.

𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬! 🎉🎉

We kicked off the morning with an awesome student-led assembly to talk about our student organizations and the exciting events they sponsor throughout the year. Our student leaders did a fantastic job leading the assembly! The energy peaked with epic teacher-vs-teacher and class-vs-class Tetris battles—the crowd's cheering and excitement were off the charts! 🎮👾

Afterward, students had an absolute blast participating in both indoor and outdoor activities, from Trivia and Scavenger Hunts to Soccer, Gaga Ball, and Frisbee! ⚽️🏆 It was a full day of non-stop energy, teamwork, and making new friends.

Because we packed so much fun into one day, don't be surprised if your student is a bit extra tired tonight—they definitely earned a good rest! 😴💤

Senior Business 3 students are wrapping up sales for our 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 𝐌𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐒 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫! This year's shirt design, as well as the classic design are on sale now! This weekend they are offering an incentive: for every T-shirt/hoodie you buy, you earn 3 raffle tickets for cool prizes and gift cards. The raffle will be held at the school on September 1st at lunch time.

🎉 Activity Day is Friday, August 28! 🎉

We can’t wait for a day full of excitement, teamwork, and fun! Here is how you can help your student prepare for the big day:

☀️ Weather: Highs in the 80s (slight chance of rain)—outdoors and active!

📣 Morning Assembly: A fun, student-led showcase of our school organizations to kick things off.

🏆 The Action: Football, Soccer, Gaga Ball, Ultimate Frisbee, Disc Golf, and a Fun Run/Walk... and a few surprises!

👟 What to Wear: Comfortable athletic gear suitable for movement (school-appropriate attire required).

💧 What to Bring: WATER, WATER, WATER! Please send a full water bottle with your student.

"The harder you work, the luckier you get." ☕️🔥

Our Business 3 seniors are already out in the community learning what it takes to succeed. Last Friday, we kicked off the year with an awesome visit to Biggby Coffee! 🚀

A huge shoutout to PJ Yacuk of Biggby Coffee for opening his doors to our students! PJ dropped some serious knowledge on what it really takes to run a successful franchise and patiently answered so many questions. Of course our students took the opportunity to try some of Biggby's amazing coffee and specialty drinks!

We appreciate PJ and Biggby for always generously sharing his time and giving our students a taste of the hard work it takes to run a small business in our area!

Controlled Chaos & Happy Teachers! 🐉😄

The first few days of school are always a little bit of controlled chaos—new schedules, new students, lots of questions, freshmen trying not to act nervous, a few “Wait…where am I supposed to be?” moments, and plenty of energy in the hallways!

But there’s something pretty special happening, too: our teachers are having FUN. ❤️

When a teacher walks past your desk with a huge smile and says, “I’m having so much fun I can’t believe we’re getting paid to do this!” you know there’s some serious positive energy happening at MTCHS. 🎉

We just had to grab our freshman teachers and support staff (one of whom made the above statement) for a quick photo—and they brought props! One teacher even showed up with a memorable mask. Can you guess who that might be? 👀😂

Happy teachers + enthusiastic staff + excited freshmen + a little controlled chaos = a pretty great start to the school year.
