What an incredible week at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference!

This photo captures most of our MTCHS team following Friday night's Awards Session. (Nicole was still hard at work in her role as a SkillsUSA National Officer!)

Over the past week, our students experienced all that NLSC has to offer, not just the competitions, but also the leadership sessions, networking, and community experiences. They embraced every opportunity and demonstrated the skill, professionalism, and determination that brought them to Atlanta. We think they had a little fun along the way, too!

We're proud of all they accomplished this week and grateful for the experiences, memories, and friendships they've gained.

We were so excited to hear our Web Design & Development team called to the stage during the SkillsUSA NLSC Awards Session on Friday night!

Daniel and Kian earned a Bronze Medal in Web Design & Development, placing them among the top three teams in the nation. That's an incredible accomplishment in one of the largest and most competitive student leadership and skills events in the country.

Making it to Nationals is a challenge in itself. Earning a spot on the podium against the best state champions from across the United States is truly exceptional.

Some of you may have noticed that another student was missing from our group photo earlier this week. That's because Rhythm has been representing Idaho as an incoming 2026-2027 SkillsUSA Idaho high school state officer!

Today, he's participating in delegate sessions and voting alongside student leaders from across the country, helping shape the future of SkillsUSA.

Not all competitions are where we can get photos, but we snagged a couple of snapshots from NLSC!

One MTCHS student was missing from the picture we posted from last nightโ€”because she was already hard at work!

Nicole Prosser is serving as the SkillsUSA National Treasurer, one of the highest student leadership positions in the organization. During Opening Session, Nicole joined fellow national officers in leading the event, taking the stage before thousands of SkillsUSA members from across the country.

Nicole has worked incredibly hard all year and has maintained a positive, professional attitude through countless meetings, events, and miles of travel. Her dedication to SkillsUSA and commitment to student leadership have made us proud every step of the way.

Sharing a couple of photos from the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC) this morning! In all the excitement and hurry, we missed catching a picture of everyone, but the energy here is incredible.

Today is all about getting geared up! Our Dragons are hitting the ground running with conference registration, tech sessions, and prepping for the upcoming SkillsUSA Championships. We're capping off a busy day tonight with the official Opening Session at State Farm Arena.
