2026 CTVSO Fall Conference

Public access to the Lincoln County Veterans Service Office will be suspended starting Monday, October 12th, 2026, through Friday, October 16th, 2026. This temporary closure allows our entire team to participate in the mandatory 2026 CTVSO Fall Conference.

This annual conference offers critical professional advancement and ongoing educational credits for our dedicated Veterans Service Officers. Engaging in this curriculum ensures our personnel remain current on evolving legislation, entitlements, and support systems for veterans and their dependents. Furthermore, the event facilitates essential collaboration with fellow Veterans Service Offices throughout the region.

Our department is steadfast in its mission to deliver premier advocacy to those who served. Attendance at this conference is vital for maintaining our official accreditation with the Office of General Counsel, allowing us to offer precise and thorough guidance to our community members.

We regret any disruption this scheduling may cause and value your cooperation. We advise veterans and their loved ones to coordinate their service needs accordingly.

Alternative Resources for Veterans

Throughout the closure period, various support avenues remain available for veterans and their families to obtain necessary assistance:

VA Website: The official Department of Veterans Affairs portal contains extensive data regarding benefit qualifications, medical care, and the claims process.

VA Call Center: The VA maintains a round-the-clock telephone line where individuals can connect with staff to discuss their services and benefits.

Veteran Service Organizations: Entities such as the VFW and the American Legion continue to provide help and advocacy for the veteran community and their families.

Our department values your continued patience during this educational period. Standard business hours at the Lincoln County Veterans Service Office are scheduled to recommence on Monday, October 19th, 2026, at our interim site within the Lincoln County Human Services Building, situated at 607 N. Sales Street.
