The Merrillville Momentum Comprehensive Plan initiative is in its final stretch, and we’re having an open house to unveil the vision for our town’s future!
The open house runs from 5-7 p.m. April 8 at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center, 6600 Broadway. A presentation starts at 5:15 p.m.
Make sure to attend the event to learn about the land use strategies, innovative development concepts, and goals that could occur over the next 20 years.
The open house is also an opportunity to share your thoughts about the comprehensive plan so it can be fine-tuned before it’s finalized.
So mark your calendars, spread the word, and join us in shaping Merrillville’s future!

The Merrillville Momentum summer planning workshops continue this week, starting with a session from 5 to 7 p.m. today (July 24) at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center, 6600 Broadway. Planners are looking for input on specific areas of Town. That includes an area from 73rd Avenue to the southern Town limits as well as the western Town limits to the I-65 corridor. There are multiple opportunities to participate in the comprehensive plan, so come out and make sure your voice is heard for the future of Merrillville.
