The latest round of severe weather to hit our community is causing power outages and heavy flooding in many areas of Merrillville. Please do not attempt to drive through flooded streets. Our Stormwater Management Utility is out assessing flooding in town. Additional police officers are also out assisting with flooding. Stay safe, Merrillville.

We’re growing our VOC Team.

The Road Home Program is hiring a Veteran Outreach Coordinator to help veterans, service members, and families learn about and connect with care.

This is a community-facing role for someone who enjoys building relationships, attending events, connecting with partners, and representing a mission that matters.

You’ll help carry the Road Home mission into the community and make sure military-connected individuals and families know support is available.
