The highlight of our open house during Clean Water Week was welcoming an awesome Girl Scout troop for a behind-the-scenes look at what we do. Huge thanks to troop leader Sarah Ridyard for bringing such a curious and engaged group. The scouts asked great questions and made the day even more fun. Always inspiring to see the next generation excited to learn 🚀

Good afternoon! Just a reminder that the trash cans that are placed inside the upper level of the recycling building (between travel lane and recycle windows) should not be used for bulk trash disposal. The barrels are for small items that you may find in your recycling that are non recyclable. Plastic bags that are used to transport recyclables can also be disposed of in these cans. We have recently had an issue with folks throwing all of their house hold trash bags in the barrels instead of depositing them in the transfer station. Additionally, please do not use the barrels for styrofoam. All styrofoam should be deposited in the trash. Thank you!!
