The Brevard County Detachment is hosting the 251st Marine Corps Birthday Ball at the Space Coast Convention Center in Cocoa FL on 14 November 2026, starting at 5:00pm. Tickets are $60, and includes dinner and a cash bar, with music and dancing following the ceremony and dinner. We have invited U.S. Congressman Mike Haridopolos to be our Guest of Honor. Additional details are in the attached flyer.

Members of Brevard County Detachment 513 had the honor of presenting the Colors during opening ceremonies of the Fast Pitch All American Games at the USSSA Space Coast Sports Complex in Viera, Florida.

Before a packed crowd of athletes, families, and fans from across the country, the Color Guard proudly represented the Marine Corps League and our nation’s veterans with professionalism and pride.

The Color Guard was comprised of Vinnie Howard, Chris Wier, Equino Holman, and Heather Betz.

Detachment 513 is proud to support events that celebrate patriotism, community, and competition, and we extend our best wishes to all participating athletes.

The members of Marine Corps League Brevard County Detachment 513 were honored to present the Colors during the opening ceremonies of the 2026 Rawlings/Easton War Games last evening at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida.

The Color Guard consisted of Commandant Chuck Betz, Junior Past Commandant Vinnie Howard, Junior Vice Commandant Chris Wier, and Marine Equiano Holman.

Adding to the pride of the evening, Detachment 513 Associate Member Heather Betz delivered a beautiful rendition of our National Anthem.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the USSSA Space Coast Complex for the opportunity to participate in this outstanding event and proudly represent the Marine Corps League.
