Please remember that there will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, September 4, or Monday, September 7. We hope our Aviator families enjoy the extended weekend! ❤️🤍💙

We also invite our families to join us for our Patriots Day Ceremony on Friday, September 11, at 7:55 a.m. as we honor the heroes who serve and protect our community. Police officers, EMTs, firefighters, first responders, and medical staff are welcome to attend our appreciation breakfast following the ceremony.

Based on our beginning-of-year benchmark data, we have officially launched our school-wide goal to increase the percentage of students demonstrating grade-level ELA proficiency by at least 3 percentage points from Fall 2026 to Spring 2027!

To make our goal meaningful and easy for every Aviator to understand, we created a student-friendly version that students will hear, see, and work toward throughout the year:

✈️✨ WEEK 6 WAS FILLED WITH JOY, INCLUSIVITY, AND PURPOSE! ✨✈️

We kicked off the week with an unofficial staff Spirit Day, with many team members arriving in black and white! 🖤🤍

Our Student Council hosted a New Student Breakfast Mixer, where new Aviators in first through sixth grade connected with student leaders and enjoyed a delicious donut! 🍩 They were also officially sorted into their Houses before our first House Assembly of the year. 🏠🎉

Our clubs are in full swing, with Cheer Club showing some Aviator spirit and Little Chefs whipping up tasty treats!

We ended the week with plenty of joy at our first House Assembly and Family Dance! What an incredible week of learning, belonging, and Aviator spirit!

🎬✨ LIGHTS, CAMERA, DANCE! ✨🎬

A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us for our Hollywood Premiere Fall Dance on Friday night! More than 300 Aviators walked the red carpet dressed to impress and ready for an unforgettable evening! 🌟

We loved seeing our students and families join in the fun, show off their best dance moves, and dance the night away! The energy, laughter, and smiles made the evening feel like a true Hollywood celebration! 💃🕺

A HUGE shoutout to Ms. Kempton and our amazing Student Council members for all their hard work planning and executing such a memorable event. Your creativity and dedication made the evening shine! 👏🎉

Thank you for making our Hollywood Premiere a blockbuster success! We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for our Keepin’ It 100 Family Dance in January! Get ready to celebrate 100 days of school in style! 💯🎶

🏠🎉📣 HOUSE SPIRIT WAS IN THE AIR! 📣🎉🏠
On Friday, we had our first House Assembly of the year and it was an absolute BLAST! On Friday, students and staff gathered with their Houses for an afternoon filled with excitement, laughter, community building, friendly competition, and LOTS of House pride!

We kicked things off with each House practicing its House Cheer—and Scholaris brought the energy and earned the House Cheer victory! 📣

Next came the hilarious Oreo Challenge! 🍪 Mrs. Russo, Mrs. Bradford, Mrs. Selser, and Mr. Call competed to move Oreos from their foreheads into their mouths without using their hands. Mrs. Selser was unstoppable, successfully completing the challenge with FOUR cookies and taking home the win! 😂👏

Then, two students from each House competed in the Balloon Challenge, working to keep their balloons in the air for two full minutes. Congratulations to our victorious balloon champions: Leo from Scholaris, Andi from Reflexio, Christine from Optimus!

We were also thrilled to celebrate our Top 3 Minga point earners: Elleia, Wade, and Orion! 🌟 These students have done an outstanding job modeling what it means to Act Safely, Be Kind, and Choose Responsibility!

Students were also introduced to our new SOAR Store, where they can use their Minga points to purchase awesome prizes and special experiences—including eating lunch with the Admin Team! 🛍️✨

A HUGE shoutout to Ms. Kempton and Mrs. Seaman for organizing such an exciting and memorable assembly! We are also incredibly grateful for our amazing staff and student House Leaders who help build House pride and make these experiences possible! ❤️💙

We can’t wait for even more fun, more House spirit, and more friendly competitions throughout the year! The countdown to our next House Assembly in December is officially on! 🏆🎉
