JOIN US! Join the EVIT Cosmetology program at the EVIT Main Campus for a night at the carnival at their annual Masquerade Hair Show. Dazzling hair design, fantastic makeup, costumes and more! The event will be from 4-6 p.m. on Fri., Dec. 2 at the EVIT Main Campus Cosmetology Building.

Tickets are $5 per person, cash only. Children 5 and under get in free! EVIT Students with the EVIT Student Activity card can get in for free as well.

We invite you to see students compete the EVIT Automotive Skills Challenge on Sat., Mar. 26, starting at 9 a.m. at the EVIT Main Campus in Mesa. There will also be the Ultimate Impression car show starting at 8 a.m. See the flyer for details.

East Valley parents -- We have a great event coming up next Saturday, March 26 at the EVIT Main Campus: the first East Valley High School Automotive Skills Challenge. If you have a son or daughter interested in the automotive industry, you definitely should stop by. Automotive students from EVIT and East Valley high schools will compete for over $5,500 in prizes donated by Valley dealerships and automotive businesses. The event will also have a Pinewood Derby race with over 100 mini cars built by students, a car and truck show, and the TechForce Foundation's Mobile STEM Career Center. Thank you to all who came to the free lunch and learn about education benefits for those who are military service members and their families at EVIT last week. We appreciate Jessica from Arizona Department of Veterans' Services for attending and being able to help answer some questions. The fabulous meal was served up by The Culinary School at EVIT Culinary Arts students.

Did you know...? The families of East Valley high school students and Phoenix area adults can start touring the EVIT Main Campus starting on Tues., Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. RSVP is required. Please RSVP by going to evit.com/tours.

The EVIT Main Campus is 65-acres. It's just 20 acres less than Disneyland. We encourage that you wear comfortable shoes and bring bottled water.
