Today, we pause to remember our brother, fallen EMT Jacob Dindinger. Jacob was critically injured on July 18, 2021 and eventually succumbed to his injuries on this date in 2021. His legacy continues with a scholarship in his name to help others reach their goal of becoming an EMT. Please take time to remember him as well as the family he left behind. We will never forget those who make the ultimate sacrifice so that others may live. May he continue to rest in peace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of Firefighter Christopher during this difficult time. May they find comfort and peace and may his legacy of helping others live on. RIP sir.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Salt River Firefighter Joseph Christopher.

Firefighter Christopher faithfully served the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community for seven years. Over the past year, he faced job-related cancer with incredible courage and strength before passing away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

We are deeply grateful for his dedicated service to our Community and the compassion he showed to those he served. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all his Brothers and Sisters at the Salt River Fire Department during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Firefighter Joseph Christopher. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Today, we pause to remember our fallen brother, Paramedic Michael Hendricks who was killed in the line of duty on this day in 1992. We will never forget our fallen and will carry their memories and dedication with us as we continue the work they lost their lives doing. May you continue to rest in peace, Michael.
