Living Word Outreach Living Word Outreach desires to love our world and community while being the hands and feet of Jesus.

• 1 in 5 Arizonans (including 1 in 4 children) live in poverty – ranking Arizona 49th out of
50 states (2010 U.S. Census Bureau report)
• 1 in 4 children under 18 in Arizona are struggling with hunger – ranking Arizona 48th
(2010 Feeding America report)
• 1 in 3 Arizonans are considered “working poor” living at or below 185% Federal Poverty
Level. Living Word is partnering with local food banks an

d missions here in the valley to help combat
this growing problem. One local mission we are working with serves nearly 8,000 meals a
week! To keep up with this tremendous need it takes resources and time from volunteers across
the Valley. You can truly be a blessing and to the hurting and homeless by donating items and
time.

We get the opportunity to work with an organization we have partnered with for a couple years called House of Refuge. This organization helps families have a home. Project Motorcycle!
A transformative initiative in Uganda
This organization would like to provide at least 100 motorcycle to pastors in Uganda.
By providing motorcycles, they aim to enhance ministry reach, improve their social status, and enable them to better support their families. This will improve the quality of churches in the area.
Project motorcycle will not only provide a means of transportation, but it is also designed to provide training in financial literacy, leadership, and basic Bible doctrines.

From now until the end of November we will be collecting donations.
All donations can be submitted in our Living Word app!
Look for Project motorcycle in the "Give" options to donate what God puts in your hearts!

Did you know that each Living Word campus has food boxes for families in need?

Now you know!
Check your pantries and sift through the canned good that you don't use or need, and then drop them off at your campus! We have been getting more households who are in need of food for their families than ever before. We get the weekly opportunity to help with this need. August 18th, come and drop off your donations at you campus bin.

Are you crafty?

Well, even if you aren't, come join us August 29th at 9 am for a Birthday Card making Party. We want to see you there! It is a great way to relax while serving our community! Every homemade card we make will be gifted to Foster Alliance. Foster Alliance gifts many children in the foster care system with a birthday gift, and a homemade card.
