Meshoppen Fire Company Proudly providing Fire, Rescue & E.M.S. services to the communities in which we live, work and play! (downed firefighter rescue).

The Meshoppen Fire Company is composed of approximately 50 active and social volunteer members, 10 part time paid E.M.T.'s and 4 full time paid E.M.T.'s. Approximately 35 of the volunteer members are active fire, rescue, and E.M.S. personnel who are dedicated to serving the communities in which we live and work. The Meshoppen Fire Department provides emergency medical services to Meshoppen Borough

and Township, Auburn Twp, Braintrim Twp, Laceyville Boro, Washington Twp, Tuscarora Twp and parts of Windham Twp. We provide fire and rescue services to Meshoppen Borough and Twp, Washington Twp, and parts of Auburn Twp. Our volunteers are highly trained and certified in many areas of expertise which include, but are not limited to, fire suppression, vehicle rescue, rope rescue, rural search and rescue, swift water rescue, heavy rescue, hazardous materials operations, and R.I.T. We are also licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health/Bureau of E.M.S. to provide Basic Life Support ambulance services. Due to our vast array of expertise and state of the art equipment, it is not uncommon for Station 2 to be requested for assistance in the furthest reaches of Wyoming County and even into neighboring counties. We invite you to visit the station for a tour of the equipment!
