Congratulations to our 9/10 Pontiff Girls Softball team, the Sparkle Sluggers, on taking home the championship in the Pontiff-Cleary Combined League!

After a long season playing across two parks, these girls battled it out and came up victorious. So proud of this team!

As we wrap up most of our seasons, the 7/8 Nationals closed out their league with a bang on the turf!

Congratulations to our 7/8 Nationals Champions, the Kingfish, and Runners-Up, the Moondogs! The weather tried to stop the game, but our teams persisted and finished strong.

Thank you to all the parents and coaches who make it possible — your support all season long does not go unnoticed!

7/8 Nationals — it's not over yet! Don't forget the Diamond Duel this weekend and next week as the quest continues to claim the 7/8 National Eastbank Championship!

Congratulations to former Pontiff player Alex Laiche and the University of Tampa Spartans on winning the 2026 NCAA Division II National Championship in baseball! The Spartans made history this year, becoming the first DII program ever to win three consecutive national titles.

It all starts somewhere, and for Alex, it started right here on the Pontiff fields.

🏆 Congratulations to our 11/12 Champions, the Crawdads, and our Runners-Up, the Oaks! What an exciting finish to the playoff season — both teams competed hard all the way to the end.

A huge thank you to all the parents and coaches who dedicated their time and energy to getting the kids to every game. None of this happens without you! ⚾

Congratulations to our 7/8 American League Champions, the Razorbacks, and our Runners-Up, the Tigers!

These boys had an incredible season filled with fun, skill development, teamwork, and outstanding sportsmanship. Every player should be proud of the effort and heart they showed throughout the season.

A huge thank you to all of the parents and coaches who dedicate their time and energy to make youth baseball possible. Your support and commitment help create lifelong memories for these young athletes.

🏆 Congratulations to our 9/10 American League Champions, the Blue Jays, and our runners-up, the Yankees!

The Blue Jays captured the championship, while the Yankees put up an outstanding fight in a hard-fought game. We couldn't be prouder of the effort, sportsmanship, and determination shown by both teams all season long.

After the game, both teams came together as friends to enjoy pizza and celebrate what youth baseball is all about: having fun, making memories, and sharing the joy of summer baseball.

Congratulations to all of our players, coaches, and families on a fantastic season!
