As temperatures dip below freezing, to ensure the safety of our staff and patrons, libraries that normally open at 9 am will instead open at 11 am on Monday, January 26. This includes East Bank Regional Library, West Bank Regional Library, Belle Terre Library, Harahan Library, Lakeshore Library, North Kenner Library, Old Metairie Library, River Ridge Library, and Westwego Library. All other branch locations will open at their standard hour of 12 pm, except for Grand Isle, which is closed on Mondays.

We invite to you to drop in and warm up, and as schools will be closed, bring young readers and find books of interest and other stimulating activities in the children’s collections. For updates, visit jplibrary.net.
