The Jefferson Chorale

The Jefferson Chorale New Orleans area choral organization! The Chorale gives a full season of choral concerts open to the public and in all areas in and around New Orleans.

The Jefferson Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Louise LaBruyere, is a semi-professional chorus consisting of 35-50 singers. The group has been active in JPAS productions, The New Orleans Brazil Festival, and has combined with various civic groups for their performances. Greetings, everyone. Our new season is almost upon us! You will want to follow us and check in to see what's new and upcoming!

Do you love to sing? Does music touch you emotionally? Join The Jefferson Chorale, a community choir and an affiliate of Jefferson Performing Arts for our very last season. You don’t have to read music to join, you just have to like to sing with other people. Rehearsals begin on Thursday, 9/10 from 7:30-9:30 at Good Shepherd Church, 5122 West Esplanade in Metairie, and continue every Thursday throughout the season.
We will have a Christmas Concert on December 10 and 13 including selections from Messiah; a Spring Concert April 15 and 18; and a Summer Pop’s concert in early June (date to be determined).

Want a cool way to start your summer?
Come to the cool confines of the Westwego Performing Arts Theatre June 7 for our final concert of the season!

Spring has sprung, our season is almost over, but not quite! Come see us at the Westwego Performing Arts Theatre on June 7 at 3pm as we present our annual pops concert, titled "American Experience".

We will be singing a variety of music styles in small groups, solos, as well as the chorale as a whole. We're sure you'll find something to your liking!

This is a free concert and open to the public. Of course, we will accept your generous donation. See you in June!
