NOMAR - New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors The Voice of Real Estate for New Orleans, est. 1915...follow for up-to-date news & opportunities! The Real Estate Board of New Orleans, Inc.

was chartered by the National Association of REALTORS® in 1915. This organization reorganized itself several times and became New Orleans REALTORS® Association, Inc. The Board of REALTORS® of Greater Jefferson Parish was organized in 1961. This organization would later be known as Jefferson Board of REALTORS®. In 1992 the Jefferson Board of REALTORS® and the New Orleans REALTORS® Association, Inc.

merged to form the organization that we know today as the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® (NOMAR). NOMAR is comprised of three organizations, the REALTORS® Association, which serves over 6,000 REALTORS®, the Commercial Investment Division (CID) that provides commercial brokers and agents benefits targeted to their specialized needs and Gulf South Real Estate Information Network, Inc., which provides MLS services to over 7,000 members.

We are proud to announce that NOMAR CID has earned Diamond Commercial Services Accreditation, the highest level of recognition for local and state REALTOR associations serving commercial real estate professionals. CID successfully met 67 out of 70 possible benchmarks, indicating excellence in governance, communication, education, advocacy, technology, state and national participation, and community involvement and networking.

We look forward to building even more upon the strong foundation laid by our past presidents, board members, and engaged practitioners, to strengthen our commercial real estate community and continue providing the high quality education, networking and services that help our members succeed.
