4th grade scholars in action! Check out our 4th graders working towards mastery of their daily learning goals!

In Science, students were asking and answering questions to predict outcomes about the changes in energy that occur. (4-PS3-3)
How does the force of the kick change the motion of the ball?

In ELA, students were finding text evidence to explain the character's reactions and feelings based on the events in I Survived Hurricane Katrina. (RL.4.3)

In Math, students were justifying that a fraction is greater than or less than 1/2 or 1 (4.NF.A.1)

Totally Science Tuesday!

Our third graders are on a roll! 🧪⚖️

These future scientists put their problem-solving skills to the test as they worked together to create balanced structures in lab! Students experimented with weight, placement, and balance—and learned pretty quickly that sometimes one tiny change can make a BIG difference!

The best part? Those faces when they finally got their structures to balance! 🤯🙌

Hands-on learning + teamwork + a little trial and error = a great day in 3rd grade! 🐾💚💛

As we finish the second week of school together, our beagle students and educators are living our commitments: visible learning, accountability, ownership and connection.

Ms. Toni developed a strong system for facilitating safe and orderly lunch and recess structures with her infamous rubber chicken and colored signed.

Our cluster teams analyzed the Louisiana Educator Rubric descriptors to make connections to their student work and mastery criteria.

Mr. Nestor and the plant team keeps our beagle campus well maintained for our school community!

It was Figure Friday for our beagle scholars who were achieving their learning goals with connecting cubes! Our kindergarten beagles were using connecting cubes to build objects while our fifth graders used connecting cubes to build prisms and determine the volume!
