Methuen Senior Activity Center Extended Hours Programs

EXTENDED HOURS: September 9, 16, 23, 30 & October 7, 14, 21, 28. Will be open Wednesday 4-7 P.M. (with 2 exceptions)

Step outside our regular schedule & enjoy engaging activities designed to bring people together to socialize, learn and just have fun! Every night during extended hours, you will also be able to play billiards, ping pong, dominoes and 45's.

Please join us on Friday, 9/11/26 as we honor the many lives lost on September 11, 2001. This Remembrance Ceremony recognizes the 25th Anniversary of 9/11 and gives our community a chance to mourn and remember.

The City of Methuen, Department of Public Works Water Division, will be making System Improvements to the Water Distribution System on Haverhill Street at Hobson Street starting Tuesday, August 4, 2026

Water service will be interrupted on Haverhill Street from Burnham Road to Edwards Avenue, and on Joy Terrace, at 9:00pm Tuesday and will be restored by 6:00am Wednesday morning. Discolored water may follow at reactivation time. If any persistent problems occur, please call the Water Distribution Office at #978-983-8855.

Due to the inclement weather, Forest Lake, Splash Pad, MHS Courts are closed. Archery class is cancelled. Playground programs at Gill Ave, Marsh and CGS are also cancelled (Monday, August 3rd).
