The Sisters & Brothers of Local 3367 send our condolences to the Sisters & Brothers of Chicago Fire Department Firefighters Union - Local 2. Earlier this morning they suffered the tragic loss of Brother Mike Altman of Truck Co. 47. Brother Altman suffered serious burns to over 90% of his body yesterday while operating at a four story apartment building fire in the 1700 block of W. North Shore Avenue, in Rogers Park. During the course of conducting a primary search Brother Altman fell through the floor into a room that was fully involved. Please keep Brother Altman’s family and his Sisters & Brothers of Truck Company 47 and Local 2 in your thoughts and prayers. Rest easy Brother.
