Big news for Coastal Academy GNETS!

Coastal Academy GNETS has officially been approved as a Georgia Registered Teaching Apprenticeship Program Employer through the Georgia Department of Education!

Even more exciting… Coastal Academy is the first GNETS under a RESA to accomplish this in the state, and the first GNETS under an LEA as well!

Proud of the vision, innovation, and commitment to building future educators and strengthening pathways for students and staff alike.

In collaboration with the FDRESA Literacy Team, we presented our final Preschool Intervention Teachers' Consortium of the school year. Participants engaged in activities around Scarborough's Reading Rope, brainstormed ways to embed the strands throughout their school day, and planned strategies and supports for case study students with disabilities. We are proud to have been a part of this session that was impactful and so fun!
