Just a reminder to save the date!

Our Fall Jam Coordinators have been working hard to make this a successful event.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the attractions you can look forward to this year:
A Mechanical Bull, Zip Line, Carnival Ride, Euro Bungee, and so much more!
Free hot dogs will be provided, but if you're in the mood to spend a little, a variety of food vendors will also be available.

For the younger kids (12 & under), don’t forget to register for the Costume Contest by scanning the QR code. You must be registered by October 10th to participate.

Don’t miss out—Trooper Carter (Bubba – 6A750) will be waiting in the dunk tank for you!

We will post more details as we get closer..

Due to a vehicle knocking down an electric power line, currently all district facilities are without electricity. This also means our phones and email are not functioning. Preliminary estimates from Oncor indicate the earliest possibility to restore power is 2:30pm, possibly much later. As a result, the district is working on a plan and more information will be coming soon. Students are safe and are being fed lunch.

Members of the Mexia Police Department attended the annual MVCPA conference and had the opportunity to follow up on a technology grant to assist in reducing motor vehicle related crime with in the City of Mexia and surrounding area. We will be notified if we have received the funding in the near future.

July is Watch Your Car Month in Texas!

Governor Greg Abbott has officially proclaimed July as Watch Your Car Month, a time to spotlight the simple yet powerful steps Texans can take to protect their vehicles and curb auto theft. The Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority (MVCPA) supports this statewide initiative by urging everyone to:

Lock your vehicle and take your keys

Never leave your car running unattended

Park in well-lit areas

Keep valuables out of sight or take them with you

Install anti-theft devices

Where you live, work, or travel in Texas, practicing these habits helps reduce the nearly $2 billion in annual losses from vehicle burglary and theft

Let’s all do our part. Spread the word, secure your ride, and together we can make Texas safer this summer!
