🎆 Looking for vendors! 🎆
We’re wanting a few family-friendly vendors to set up at our firework shops July 2nd evening, July 3rd evening, and July 4th morning.
Looking for snow cones, treats, drinks, celebration items, patriotic goodies, and easy grab-and-go setups.
If you’re a local business, we’d also love to do some promotional stuff together to help get your name out!

Fairfield still has some openings on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
Mexia is almost booked( unless we get some more interest)

Lake Mexia VFD would like to thank Texas A&M Forest Service Matt and his team on the wildland fire fighting class today. We would also like to thank Cayuga FD Briaroaks FD West Lake Limestone Volunteer Fire Department for joining us in this training. Was good learning new skills and technics on fighting wildland fires.

Lake Mexia VFD would like to thank everyone that came out yesterday and today to help support our dept. The funds that was raised helped us with the wild land training that we have going on now with several of our firefighters taken with the Texas forestry service they will complete that May 30th. Thank each of yall again.

Great meeting night thank everyone for coming out and helping. Thank you AirEvac Five-three thank you for the limestone county game warden for coming out also and the dive instructors on giving us the information we was looking for. Was a great meeting and a great training night.

🍂Thankful🍂

As we enter this week of celebrating and giving Thanks. We are so thankful as a department for every single volunteer we have. They give their time freely and we as a community do not take that lightly.

For this month's training meeting our crew took a Saturday to sharpen their extraction and patient care skills to better serve our community. Trainings help prepare our firefighters for events that may happen on a call and are a vital part of every department.
