The World Cup in Kansas City is bringing several hundred thousand visitors to Missouri over the next month. This has led to the largest and longest law enforcement activation Missouri has ever had. As usual, the men and women of MPSD have stepped up to help. Six MPSD officers have volunteered to work one or two shifts each at event locations on what would have been their days off. We had others who were willing to help, but the requests did not match their schedule as we continue to meet the needs of Mexico. Still, we are there. So if you are attending any of the World Cup events in Kansas City, keep your eyes open for MPSD and if you see one of us, make sure to say hi.
