Mrs. Louder and Mrs. Stuckenschneider, our title reading teachers, started small group instruction this week. Students were reviewing letter names and sounds, decoding words, and practicing their reading skills.

Students in Mrs. Femrite's class were participating in a stem challenge to see which team of students could create the longest chain in 30 minutes. They had 2 pieces of construction paper, 1 foot long piece of masking tape, a ruler, and scissors. Students had to think outside the box and work as a team.

First two days have come and gone. They have been filled with getting to know each other and building community.
