The Fairgrounds Aquatic Center will close for the season on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Come soak up the sunshine, make a few more memories, and enjoy the final days at the pool before we wrap up another amazing season!

Employee of the Week
July 4th - July 10th

Jalin Davis is a first year guard this year. She will be a Junior at MHS this fall. When she isn't at work you can catch her watching movies, hanging out with friends or driving around listening to music. Of course her favorite thing about working at FAC is getting her tan on and making money :)

Autumn Paschang is a first year cashier. You can find her smiling face at the concession stand. She is a Junior at MHS. In her spare time she likes to play sports or hanging out with her friends and family. The best part to her at FAC is working with her awesome co-workers.

Both of these ladies have shown great stride and leadership. They have shown they can take and task their given and get the job done. We are lucky to have them as part of our FAC team!

Employees of the Week
June 20th - June 26th

Maddy Feger is a 4th year guard along with having a new role as Head Guard this year. Maddy graduated back in May from MHS and plans to attend Truman State University this fall to major in Biology. If Maddy isn't at the pool working you can find her at the gym, going on walks, tanning or reading a good book. Of course one of her favorite things about FAC is being able to get a tan but she also loves working with the kids.

Kayden Cason is a 1st year guard at FAC. She will be a Sophomore at MHS in the fall. In her spare time she is very active in volleyball, soccer, running and working out. So far this summer her favorite thing about FAC is working with all the staff.

BOTH of these ladies have done huge things for us here at FAC. We are very lucky to have Maddy step into a bigger role and lean on her for more responsibilities. Kayden has stepped up with our swim lessons and our kids love her. Keep up the great work ladies!

Congratulations to our First Employees of the Week for the week of May 30th - June 5th.

Marali Herrera-Amaya is a 2nd year cashier at FAC. She is a MHS 2026 graduate and plans to attend Mizzou to study Biology. In her free time she enjoys cooking, reading and working out. Her favorite part about working at FAC is her co-workers.
Marali was choose because of her dedication and willingness to help out whenever needed. She was very helpful in training our new employees along with stepping up as a veteran employee.

Landon Whitworth is a 2nd year guard and is Junior at MHS. When he isn't at work you might find him at a race track or on the tennis court. What he enjoys the most about FAC is the interaction with patrons.
Landon was a great choice because he is a great team player. Whenever you need something done, someone to take a shift, or someone to help out somewhere, he is your guy.

Both of these employees are a huge part of FAC and we are lucky to have them!

Registration is now open for our New Summer Tennis League!

Coed League
Ages 13+
$20 Registration (includes a shirt)

Matches begin June 11 and run until August 29. Players may sign up at any time during the league; registration deadline is July 31.

Registration must be completed at the 2nd Floor of City Hall
