Today was simply amazing! 🙌🏾

Sports Sunday was one for the books. Through David’s story, we were reminded that every trial, every setback, and every season of preparation was building us for this moment.

The lion prepared you. The bear prepared you. The victory is coming.

Thankful for everyone who joined us today. God moved, and I’m leaving encouraged.

A full day of community engagement!

Started the day at Legal Aid Day at our Senior Family Center, where residents received free legal assistance. Then stopped by the Miami Norland Senior High Alumni Picnic before celebrating the re-grand opening of Co-Space, a valued local business in Miami Gardens.

Serving people and supporting our community every step of the way.

Today was more than a street renaming ceremony—it was a celebration of a legacy.

I was honored to join my colleagues in recognizing Congresswoman Frederica Wilson for her decades of unwavering service, advocacy, and commitment to the people of South Florida. Her voice has echoed in the halls of Congress, but her impact has always been felt right here in our communities.

This street renaming serves as a permanent reminder that one person’s dedication can inspire generations. Thank you, Congresswoman Wilson, for breaking barriers, creating opportunities, and fighting for those who needed a champion. Your legacy is written not only on a street sign, but in the countless lives you have touched.

Congratulations on this well-deserved honor, and thank you for your many years of service.

Great day in Miami Gardens! ⚽️

I was honored to join Mayor Rodney Harris and Commissioner Oliver Gilbert, alongside the FIFA Miami Host Committee, in welcoming our young athletes to Dr. Lester Brown Park for an exciting youth soccer clinic ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Watching our youth sharpen their skills, build confidence, and experience the power of teamwork and global unity was truly inspiring. Opportunities like this remind us that sports can open doors, change lives, and bring communities together.

Miami Gardens is ready for the world stage — and our future is bright!
