Phoenix Group of the Brotherhood Initiative We are a firefighter/peer led, alcohol and substance abuse support group. Meetings-Thursdays 930 to 1130 All of our discussions are fully confidential.

The Phoenix Group is a gathering of men and women of the Fire Service who find hope and solidarity through honest discussions and self reflection. The Phoenix Group was created with the principle that no firefighter should have to face the alcohol and/or substance abuse recovery process alone. Our intent is to create a confidential "peer-to-peer" space where our brothers and sisters feel comfortab

le discussing the challenges they face as they reclaim their lives and recover their sense of agency. We use words like "Courage, Awareness, Perseverance, and Compassion" to espouse our philosophy of hope, as we explore new, healthier ways of relating to the world (internal and external). The Phoenix Group meets on Thursdays, from 930 to 1130 am, at The Springs Room, 38 Curtiss Parkway (around the back) MiamI Springs, Florida 33166. We expect all who attend the group to respect the privacy of our members and adhere to this.

Hello everyone, we will not be at our usual location tomorrow, in observance of Thanksgiving 🦃.

A collaborative effort between MDFR and Miami-Dade Police Department's Mental Health and Wellness Services Bureau, this event is open to all first responder agencies, families of first responders, and community stakeholders.
