An internet troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on topic discussion. Any person engaged in “Trolling” or leaving a “troll” on this or any Miami Police Department Social Media site will be banned immediately and the comments will be removed. The Miami Police Department Will Remove any comments that are inappropriate or offensive, including comments that defame, abuse , harass, stalk, threaten or violate the legal rights of others, including racism, hatred, slander, threats, obscenity, violence and/or vulgarity, spam or advertisements that have personal information about another person or that violate a person’s privacy, including copyrighted material that belongs to another person or links to inappropriate websites clearly off topic.
