🎉Kicking Off Another United Way Campaign🎉

What better way to start our new campaign than by celebrating the businesses that helped make our previous campaign a success! ❤️

At our United Way Kickoff Breakfast yesterday, we were proud to recognize our Top 10 Supporting Businesses from last year’s campaign. These businesses went above and beyond to support our community and help make a difference in the lives of our friends, neighbors, and families across Ottawa County.

What a fantastic day we had at our Dunk Tank at the Route 66 Heritage Fest☀ 💦

A want to give a huge shoutout to our incredible volunteers! They truly are The Best! Even with the temps soaring over 100 degrees they still showed up with smiles, positive attitudes and ready to have a great time. Some of them enjoyed an occasional splash in the tank, while others braved the hot asphalt collecting donations, taking tickets, chasing down softballs, refilling the tank, and keeping everything running smoothly.

We couldn't have done this without each and every one of you!

And thank you to everyone that stopped by to support our fundraiser and take a chance at dunking our good-hearted volunteers and sharing some laughter with us. Your generosity and enthusiasm made our day a huge success!

We are grateful for our amazing community!

Come see us in downtown Miami, OK this Saturday, July 25th at the Miami - Oklahoma Route 66 Heritage Fest and dunk some of our outstanding, fun, good-hearted volunteers that will do almost anything for a good cause in Northeast Oklahoma. Thank you Modoc Nation for sponsoring our fundraiser and caring for our local community members so well!

Thank you to our volunteers that are willing to get wet on a hot summer day - Joe Dale Morgan, Brian Estep, Wayne Bunch, Mayor Bless Parker, Troy Littleaxe, Mark Ogle, Grant Watson, Jack Osborn and possibly a few more surprise volunteers throughout the day. It may even be a surprise to them :)

This weekend we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and the strength or our community. We are grateful for our neighbors, volunteers, donors, businesses and partner agencies who come together year-round to make Ottawa County a better place for everyone!
