* Until 215 AM CDT.

* At 124 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 13 miles south of Edna to near Ketchum, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

OZONE ALERT for TULSA METRO AREA

This is a situation we don't talk about much in public safety, but Air Quality reports coming in from Tulsa, OK Metro Area suggest that there will be poor air quality due to Ozone in the city and surrounding areas today.

"An ozone alert has been issued for Wednesday for the Tulsa metropolitan area. Reduce activities during the heat of the day that add pollution to the environment, and instead shift those activities to the morning or evening hours."

Here is a look at the expected timeline and storm hazards today.

1.) Southeast OK (Noon-Midnight): Scattered storms likely with a few severe storms expected. The main hazards will be large hail and damaging winds.

2.) Northeast OK and northwest AR (9 PM-2 AM): Scattered storms are possible (40% chance), developing from west to east, but severe weather not currently expected.
