Miami Public Library Youth Department Stay connected, see new books, see upcoming events and join in on the fun! We have activity backs, board games, and DVDs that can be checked out.

The Children's Department offers a large variety of award-winning books, graphic novels, easy readers, chapter books, and more, and that is just the books! There are many fun activities to do during your library visit. Enjoy one of our passive programs, computers, sensory bin, puzzles, and more while you visit us. The Teen Department has had a whole new makeover! There are comfortable seating, caf

e-style tables, chairs, board games, puzzles, and much more to come. We add new books frequently and have a monthly grab-and-go activity kit. There are chances to win prizes through contests and different ways of participating. It is a safe and welcoming environment. Come check it out.

Missed out on Teen Self Defense Classes? You're in luck! We have added three more dates to our schedule. Which means three more opportunities for you to learn self-defense techniques!
Join us at the library to master techniques with our instructor and boost your confidence to stay safe at all times.

The upstairs meeting room at the Miami Public Library.

Our next meeting for our Dread campaign is on Friday, June 5th, from 5-6:30 PM!
What is Dread?
Dread is a tabletop RPG (role-playing game) that is similar to D&D, but uses Jenga pieces instead of dice!
Each session offers a new story, making it easy to jump in at any time if you haven't been before (as long as you're 12 or older)!
