MIAMI CENTRAL SR. HIGH SCHOOL PTSA APPOINTS ALUM JEREMY AUGUSTIN AS MALE INVOLVEMENT COORDINATOR
MIAMI, FL — The Miami Central Sr. High School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Jeremy Augustin, Class of 2008, as the new Male Involvement Coordinator.
In this role, Augustin will lead strategic efforts to expand fatherhood initiatives, mentor male students, and build a strong network of male role models to actively participate in school events and youth support programs at Miami Central Sr. High.
Augustin brings a proven track record of grassroots community engagement to Miami Central. As the South Florida Representative for the "Daddy Stroller Social Club," an initiative dedicated to providing a supportive, judgment-free space for fathers to connect, discuss fatherhood, and focus on men’s mental health, Augustin has championed the vital role fathers play in strong families and thriving communities. His vision directly mirrors the PTSA’s goal of strengthening male participation across campus.

"His work through the Daddy Stroller Social Club highlights his deep commitment to empowering fathers and men in our community. Having a Miami Central alumnus step up into this leadership position ensures our male students and families have an authentic, dedicated advocate working on their behalf."
As a Class of 2008 graduate, Augustin’s personal ties to the school fuel his desire to give back to the next generation of students.
"Men, fathers or not, act accordingly when they know their purpose. Increasing the involvement of Miami Central students' fathers would not only strengthen the greatness already established at my beloved Alma mater but also benefit the surrounding communities. Even a small percentage of visible men brings huge dividends. I believe I can help in any manner to see this vision come into fruition, said Jeremy Augustin"
The Miami Central PTSA invites parents, alumni, and community leaders to join upcoming male involvement workshops and networking events tentatively scheduled for this academic year spearheaded by Mr. Augustin.
