SAVE South Florida's longest serving LGBTQ rights and advocacy organization. Safeguarding American Values for Everyone since 1993! SAVE won the vote 53% to 47%.

Get involved at https://linktr.ee/SAVElgbt SAVE is the leading LGBTQ advocacy organization based in South Florida, promoting equal rights for all Americans. Established in 1993, SAVE defeated a proposed statute that would have banned anti-discrimination ordinances throughout the State of Florida. In 1998, SAVE successfully lobbied for the Miami-Dade County Commission to pass an ordinance banning d

iscrimination based on sexual orientation. The ordinance was challenged at the ballot box in 2002. In December 2014, SAVE led the charge to revisit the Human Rights Ordinance established in 1998 to add gender identity and expression, ensuring that the transgender community in Miami-Dade is also protected from discrimination. Also in 2014, SAVE helped make marriage equality a reality in Florida as a plaintiff in the Federal marriage equality case led by the ACLU of Florida, the case that allowed for same-sex marriages to begin on January 6, 2015. As we continue the movement for equal rights for all people, SAVE remains a leader in the fight for equal rights for LGBTQ Americans. We depend upon and appreciate your support! Thank you for your ongoing generosity your tireless commitment to LGBTQ equality!

Today the SAVE team took a little time to step away from the day-to-day for a mini retreat to reflect on what we’ve accomplished so far, reconnect as a team, and get focused on what’s ahead. After a busy Primary Election season, it was good to make space to celebrate the wins, learn from the work, and keep building toward an even stronger General Election season.

This election season SAVE is putting real organizing power behind our endorsements with a team of five organizers who can mobilize volunteers, reach voters, knock doors, make calls, and deliver trusted information to South Florida voters.

To our five organizers: thank you for all your hard work, dedication, and commitment to the community!

Your work has helped strengthen SAVE’s field program and build organizing power heading into the General Election.

We’re proud of what we accomplished together. Now we take that momentum into November.

This past primary, SAVE put real organizing power behind our pro-equality endorsements. We put organizers in the field, mobilized volunteers, knocked more than 10,000 doors, made more than 35,000 direct voter contacts, held more than 40 field actions, and added more than 5,000 new members and subscribers. And 22 of our 29 endorsed candidates in contested races won or advanced to the next round.

These numbers reflect the political infrastructure SAVE is building for South Florida’s LGBTQ+ community and our allies. They show what is possible when we organize, mobilize, and bring more people into grassroots work.

We are incredibly proud of every candidate who stood with our community and everyone who knocked a door, made a call, sent a text, volunteered, donated, or cast a ballot.

Now we take that power into November! Sign up to volunteer with SAVEat the link in our bio. We’re only getting started!

Join SAVE this Saturday, August 22, for a Day of Action for Todd Delmay!

We’ll be knocking doors, talking with voters, and building support for Todd Delmay, who is running for Florida House District 101.

A lifelong advocate for equality and stronger communities, Todd has dedicated his career to fighting for working families across South Florida. As the Executive Director of SAVE, South Florida’s longest-running LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, Todd has worked to protect fundamental freedoms, expand opportunity, and champion policies that make life more affordable and fair for everyone.

Now, Todd is running for the Florida House to lower costs, confront the housing affordability crisis, and deliver practical solutions that put Florida families first.

10 AM–12 PM

Join SAVE staff, volunteers, and supporters as we hit the doors and connect with voters in District 101. Every conversation helps build momentum for November.
