๐ Stronger Together: Connection, Collaboration & Remembrance
Our Provider Advisory Committee came together this week for more than just a meetingโit was an opportunity to connect, listen, share, and strengthen the relationships that make our System of Care stronger.
Our providers are on the front lines every day, serving individuals and families throughout our communities. The Provider Advisory Committee gives them an important voice and a space to bring their experiences, ideas, challenges, and successes to the table. These conversations help us learn from one another, strengthen partnerships, and work together to make behavioral health services more accessible, responsive, and meaningful for the people we serve.
During the meeting, we also took a moment to recognize International Overdose Awareness Day, observed each year on August 31. ๐
Behind every overdose statistic is a personโa family member, friend, neighbor, or loved one. This day gives us an opportunity to remember those whose lives have been lost, stand alongside the families and communities impacted by overdose, and remind others that overdose is preventable and recovery is possible.
It also reinforces why the work happening around tables like this one matters. Through prevention, treatment, peer and recovery support, education, and strong community partnerships, we can reduce stigma, connect people to help, and ultimately save lives.
We are grateful to our Provider Advisory Committee members and our entire provider network for showing up every day with compassion, commitment, and a shared belief in the power of recovery and community.
