Our Respect Life Club kicked off its first meeting of the year with an activity centered on the dignity and sanctity of every human life.

During the meeting, members wrote messages of hope, love and encouragement for mothers in need on balloons. As they worked together to keep the balloons in the air, students reflected on the importance of community, compassion and supporting those facing life’s challenges.

The activity served as a reminder that every life is a gift from God and that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Yesterday, our Alumnae Tour kicked off in Washington, D.C., bringing together alumnae from across generations to celebrate the Lourdes sisterhood and strengthen their lifelong connection to our school community.

Sister Carmen Fernández ’85, IHM, Nicole Rossato ’03 and Martica Castellanos ’82 represented Lourdes at this special gathering, which provided an opportunity for alumnae to reconnect, share cherished memories and learn about the exciting things happening at their alma mater.

Rooted in our shared experiences and the values instilled during their years at Lourdes, the bonds of sisterhood continue to unite our alumnae, wherever life takes them. Through opportunities like the Alumnae Tour, we remain committed to fostering meaningful connections and celebrating the lasting impact of the Lourdes experience.

We are excited to welcome the next generation of Bobcats. Applications for the 2027–2028 school year are now open. For details on how to apply, visit our website or connect with our Admissions Director, Ms. Melissa Falcon, at [email protected].

Today, our campus transformed into a Halloween wonderland as we hosted our annual Lola’s Spooktacular, part of Lola’s Service Event Series!

Following the PSAT, we welcomed nearly 120 children from Mater Academy East and Mater Preparatory Academy for an afternoon filled with costumes, candy and Halloween fun. Students from various clubs and organizations came together to host themed activities, games and crafts, spreading smiles, laughter and a little Halloween magic throughout our campus.

More than a celebration, the afternoon was a reminder of the joy that comes from giving back and the spirit of service that brings our Lourdes community together.
