When young artists, filmmakers, and learners engage with books and with each other, they build imagination, curiosity, and the language to express what matters to them. That connection is central to our approach. Through hands-on digital media arts education, positive youth development, and career-connected learning, we help young people develop their voices, strengthen their skills, and carry their creativity into future opportunities in the creative industries.

Reading opens the door. Creating helps activate the learning.

We are thrilled to be returning to Florida, an important battleground state where our fearless Freedom to Read advocates are driving change. PEN America’s 2025-2026 National Findings Report found that Florida had 3,212 incidents of book bans, the second highest after Texas with 8,193. “Both states have become blueprints for educational censorship, where special interest groups, state laws, and politicians have converged to pressure school districts to restrict and remove access to books.” - PEN America
