Day 1 of the new school year is officially underway! 🎒✨

Members of the Office of Community Partnerships, Education and Business Access were out across the district today doing what we do best: supporting our school administrators, empowering teachers and staff, and welcoming students and families back to campus.

From being those extra pair of hands for teachers and staff to helping parents navigate opening-day logistics, our goal is to ensure every school community has the tools and support needed for a seamless start.

From Intern to Impact!

As part of a summer SYIP student intern project, our interns sat down with Jordan Madrigal, M-DCPS School Board Attorney, to hear how his experience in the Academic Year Internship Program helped influence his educational journey and career path.

His story is a powerful reminder that an internship is more than an experience. It can be the beginning of a future career. Through meaningful, real-world opportunities, students build connections, develop professional skills, explore career pathways, and begin to envision what’s possible.
