First few days back and these kids are already in full swing 🤍

New routines, familiar faces, new friends, and so many moments that reminded us exactly why we love what we do. Hands in paint, charcoal on paper, sensory exploration, outdoor play, music — and kids who are already right where they belong.

There’s nothing quite like watching our classrooms fill back up with curiosity, laughter, and this energy.

Today is the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL at KLA Schools of West Kendall and we couldn’t be more excited 🤍

A few days ago we kicked off the new school year with our Back to School Bash — giving our families the chance to get messy, have fun, and experience some of the hands-on activities their children get to do every day at KLA. Paint, clay, splash tables, music, and a whole lot of smiles.

At KLA, we believe preschool should be so much more than learning — it should be an experience your child looks forward to every single morning. One where they create, explore, discover, and grow through intentional, hands-on activities that are designed with purpose. That’s the foundation of our Reggio Emilia-inspired approach and it’s what makes every day here special.

At KLA Schools of West Kendall, even our culinary experiences are intentional. When our children measure, pour, mix, and taste, they’re building fine motor skills, learning real-world math, developing sensory awareness, and practicing collaboration — all in one activity.

In the Reggio Emilia approach, every experience is designed with purpose because we know that what children do at this age becomes the foundation for how they learn, create, and grow. Culinary experiences is just one of the many ways we make that happen.

Tomorrow is the day! Our Back to School Bash is here and we are SO ready 🎨💦🎶

Join us tomorrow, Saturday, July 25 from 10AM–12PM for a morning packed with fun — messy art stations, a Reggio-inspired outdoor atelier experience, splash tables, music, food, and a whole lot of smiles.

This is your chance to see what KLA Schools of West Kendall is all about and kick off the new school year with our amazing community.

Fair warning — it’s going to get messy in the best way. Come prepared with a change of clothes, swimsuit, and a towel. Your kids will thank you later 😂👙💦🎉
