Break the Supermajority!

I’m happy to share that today, our campaign has been named a Target Race by the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee - DLCC.

This race is important, not just for the future of District 9, but for the future of Indiana. The winds are changing in Indiana as Hoosiers see and feel the financial hardships put on them and their families by the Republican Supermajority. Hoosiers will do better when our leaders are willing to challenge the status quo and govern with evidence, accountability, and a focus on real results for the working families of Indiana.

We’re just a few weeks away from June 6, where I hope to earn the honor of becoming your Democratic nominee for Secretary of State.

I was in LaPorte recently, and the energy in the room reminded me of something important: Hoosiers are hungry to be involved again. People are ready for leadership that feels real, accessible, and grounded in community.

That momentum is what keeps pushing this campaign forward. It’s a reminder that we can’t be afraid to believe in something different. To bet on someone who may not fit the traditional mold.

But “untraditional” has never scared me.

Because one of the biggest lessons of this campaign has been this: people want authenticity. They want leaders who show up as themselves, meet people where they are, and earn support through real relationships, not assumptions.

That’s how you build a movement. One conversation, one connection, one community at a time.

So Indiana Democrats… are you ready to meet the moment?
