Monday’s County Council meeting was a powerful reminder that your voice matters.

You spoke up. We listened. The proposed wheel tax did not pass.

Thank you to everyone who contacted me, attended meetings, and shared your thoughts. My responsibility is to listen to the people I represent, ask questions, and vote accordingly.

I’ll continue listening, asking tough questions, and making thoughtful decisions on behalf of the people of LaPorte County.

We have hot dogs going, sandwiches, fresh produce and delightful company! Come down to the LaPorte County Democrats Building at the laporte county fairgrounds!!

***Update!****

We are getting feedback that there are people who can't get out to come get food.

So tomorrow we will be adding a sack lunch delivery service to this outreach day.

If you know someone who can't get out and needs a sack lunch and some fresh produce. PM us and we will do our best to help them out.

Also, if you'd like to volunteer… Just show up and bring something to add to a lunch!

And I just got word that the Believe in Brownlee campaign, Michigan City Pride, and Care Arbors, and Lori Larson for Center Township Trustee is sponsoring tomorrow's food and sack lunches! Thank You Team!
