Club 100 Charities is sponsoring 20 youth from the Lake Park Summer Camp held at the Haitian Bible Baptist Church for one week beginning June 13th to the First Tee Golf program. The First Tee of The Palm Beaches is more than learning the game of golf in that it enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with life skills curriculum, we create learning experiences that build inner strength, self0confidence, and resilience that kids carry to everything they do. Experiences are our greatest teacher. First tee believes in developing the ones that are just as fun as they are meaningful, where kids feel excited to grow, safe to fail, and better equipped for whatever comes their way next. Through our personal growth and junior golf programs, we see kids’ build self-confidence, inspiring more active participation in leadership opportunities and events, community involvement, and college scholarships. If any of the kids excel in the game we’ll try to arrange ongoing lessons. Who knows we may discover the next Tiger Woods.

Homeward Bound is pleased to announce that by partnering with Citizens Concerned for the Homeless and especially with the help and support from Ed Merrion and Jim Musial we expect to help 12 people/families find housing within the next month. These are hard working folks that fell onto hard times and without our assistance may well be living on the street or in an emergency shelter. Our goal still is to build a village of small affordable homes, but until we get the proper zoning and community support we’ll continue to help any way we can.

Homeward Bound is happy to invite all of our supporters to a fundraising event Saturday May 26th at 7:30 p.m. at La Porte Little Theatre. Will Sing 4 Shelter will perform to benefit Homeward Bound and our Village of Hope. The event will feature:
