As our community continues recovering from the recent storms, we know many families are still trying to figure out where to start.

These are a few important steps to keep in mind when looking for repair or financial assistance. Save this post, share it with a neighbor, and remember to ask questions before agreeing to any repair work.

We’re opening our doors for an afternoon packed with fire trucks, demonstrations, hands-on activities, food, and family fun!
🚒 FIRE TRUCK RIDES
Climb aboard and experience a ride in a fire truck!

🧑‍🚒 HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES
Get an up-close look at some of the equipment and skills our firefighters use to serve our community.

🔥 LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS
See firefighters and emergency responders in action and learn more about what happens behind the scenes during emergency operations.

🚁 HELICOPTER LANDING
Come see an emergency helicopter up close and learn about the important role air medical crews play in emergency response!

🏠 KIDS SAFETY SMOKE HOUSE TRAILER
Kids will have an opportunity to learn valuable fire and smoke safety skills in an interactive environment.

👧👦 ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS
We’ll have plenty to keep our younger visitors busy while they learn about firefighters, emergency services, and staying safe.

One of the biggest reasons we hold our Open House is to give the community an opportunity to meet the men and women who volunteer their time to protect Kingsford Heights, Union Township, and the surrounding area.

Tour the station, check out our apparatus and equipment, talk with our firefighters, and learn more about what goes into operating a volunteer fire department.
