SUMMER STORY TIME to be held!

Parents, grandparents and daycare providers,
The library will again have “Summer Story Time” at the library. Back by popular demand are instructors Alex Anderson and Breanna Sharp.
DATES: June 5, 12 , 19, 26, 2026
TIME: 9:30-10:30 @ Bernice Ferguson Community Library in the mall
AGES: Pre K thru 1st grade

Update: we hired a local teen to maintain the flowers and flower bed uptown!!!!

📣 The Library and the Legion have created a job opportunity right here in town. We are looking for someone to take care of flower pots in front of mall and flower bed at Vets Park. We will pay for the plants. 🌺 🌼 🌹
Job description:
Purchase and replace dead flowers at vets park raised bed. W**d, water and maintain from June-Sept.
5 Flower Pots in front of mall;
Purchase flowers, water flowers from June-Sept.

📣 WHATS GOING ON AT THE LIBRARY? 📚
We have three things going on this summer. A concert at the Vets Park on June 5th at 6pm. “Project Constellation” will play. They are an acoustic duo who play a variety of music including Scandinavian music. It’s FREE! Bring your chair and drink and enjoy!

Our annual “Summer Story Time” will be held with instructors Brianna Sharp and Alex Anderson returning this year. Kids in preschool through 1st grade are welcome to join us. Dates will be announced soon. It lasts 1 hour and it’s held at our library.

The library is planning to add additional flower pots in front of the mall this year. Summer is short we figured we might as well make it beautiful!!

Bernice Ferguson Community Library has received some spring cleaning and new decor. New globe paper lanterns were hung from ceiling and the family of Norma Vasichek donated two plants. Thank you to Jay, Laurie and Jill for this donation.
