Join us in congratulating Elma Lugo on her retirement! As our Literacy and Multicultural Services Librarian, Elma has dedicated her career to uplifting the Longwood community — organizing vibrant concerts, fun-filled bus trips, creative art programs, impactful ESOL classes, and guiding countless patrons on their journeys to becoming United States citizens. Her impact was officially recognized in 2019 when the Town of Brookhaven declared October 11 to be Elma Lugo Day!
