The 175th Professional Federal Firefighters F-319, would like to extend our deepest condolences to Durham Professional Firefighters, IAFF Local 668, following the line of duty death of Firefighter Andrew Brokes. Our hearts are with Andrew’s family, loved ones, and fellow crew members.

We are also thinking of the two firefighters injured in the incident and wishing them strength and a full recovery.

Our members stand with Local 668 and the Durham Fire Department during this time of profound loss.

Rest in peace, Firefighter Brokes. You will never be forgotten.

Around 1639hrs, on 06OCT2026, ENG175 responded to assist Baltimore County Fire Department with a reported building/structure in a 21-02 box. ENG175 arrived first due suppression piece with single wide trailer fire showing. ENG175 operated as first due engine and pulled a line for primary fire attack. ENG175 crew operated on scene for approximately two hours, then cleared.
